In case you are going to travel to Cyprus, what to see and where to go?
First time we traveled to Cyprus in 2010... The is a story for a single separate post. But from that time we have fallen in love with this island. All our further travelings was with a feeling of comparison...
And now let's return to the story :) One of our most favorite place on Cyprus is Polis with its Bath of Aphrodite.
Our trip began in rainy (what is summer rain on Cyprus) day 11th of May 2013. Firstly we even thought to stay to stay at home. But than we made right decision.
All these clouds were dramatically beautiful and that time small rain brought the rainbow what made this trip unforgettable.

When I put the photo below to my Instagram. People started to ask me
"WOW! you flew by helicopter?"
No I made this photo just from a road!!
Polis - a small, quiet, pleasant resort town. Nothing special in appearance is noticeable on a first look, except that it is near a natural reserve Akamas.

If you delve into history, we find that the Police has a rich historical past data, that his name is not for nothing is written with a capital letter, and he would be the envy of any modern mega - policy. It turns out that in the Neolithic period, more than 8,000 years ago, there were people already. The first mention of a certain Marion are present in the label, located on the wall in the tomb of Egyptian pharaoh Ramses III, and date back to the XII century BC Apparently, it was just the same as the already well-known in the III century BC. e. a thriving city-state of Marion, the most highly developed, at the time
Between Polis and Cape Arnaut is the area which is called the Baths of Aphrodite. It got its name from a small grotto hidden in the shade of an old fig tree.
According to legend, in the grotto of the goddess Aphrodite bathed, and this is where she met her beloved Adonis.
First what we have seen was a beautiful beach. And we decided to go there. After we went to see Aphrodite Bath.
All this clouds, sun and rain make nature like in a fairy tail.
And all photos look so amazing!

To find Aphrodite Bath is very easy - it's up on the hill.
Entrance is free.
There is a park near the Aphrodite Bath itself. We still could not see all of it till the moment. Our way back layed through another gates which points to the Akamas road. There we could see a lot of goats. Also there you can buy an excursion on a donkey.
